Global Monitoring Database

Source: World Bank. File names: mpm_country_level_estimates.dta, Located at: 1-data/raw/other for Overview and Chapter 1. The Global Monitoring Database (GMD) contains micro-level survey data, with access restricted to World Bank staff using Bank-managed computers. External access is not available. While most surveys in the GMD are accessible internally, some require special access requests. The processed data needed to run this package is included, and the raw version of the data will be provided in the internal version of the package. Additionally, the code file 'WLD_2024_ALL_v01_A_GMI_MPM.do' in the supplementary code folder, prepared by the D4G team, is included for external readability. This file is simplified and downloads data for one country; however, to fully replicate the analysis, users would need to download data for all countries. The codes calling the data (“ch1_1c_otherdata” and “overview_1h_mpm_revised.do”) have been revised to call the data directly from datalibweb.
