    Abstract

    The Entrepreneurship Database is a dataset on the number of limited liability companies in 188 economies. It looks at the number of newly registered companies per year, the number of closed companies per year, and the total number of companies at the end of every year.

    • OS: Windows 11 Enterprise, version 24H2
    • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 165U (2.10 GHz)
    • Memory available: 32 GB

    Runtime: 1 minutes.
    Reproduction instructions
    1. Change the file path global: edit the global project in line 11 of the do-file "main" to the folder location of the reproducibility package.
    2. Run the code: run the do-file "main".

Data was accessed in September 2025.
