Drawing on a World Bank Group survey of 46 providers across 30 jurisdictions (banks, microfinance institutions (MFIs), cooperatives\/credit unions, non-bank lenders, and fintechs), the study maps current data practices across the credit lifecycle, identifies operational and regulatory constraints, and highlights opportunities and challenges to data-driven credit provision. The findings are intended to inform and support policy and regulatory measures on sex-disaggregated and alternative data that can help enable more inclusive access to finance for women entrepreneurs.","geographic_units":[{"name":"World","code":"WLD"}],"output":[{"title":"Leveraging Sex-Disaggregated And Alternative Data In Credit Scoring For Women-Owned SMEs","type":"World Bank Reports & Flagships"}],"language":[{"name":"English","code":"EN"}],"technology_requirements":"Run time ~ 3 minutes","disclaimer":"The materials in the reproducibility packages are distributed as they were prepared by the staff of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development\/The World Bank.
