- Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6132 CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz (2 processors)
- Memory available: 128 GB
- Software version: Stata 18 MP
Technology requirements
Runtime: 1 hour
Reproduction instructions
Users will be able to produce most exhibits from the intermediate data included in this reproducibility package. Access to many of the raw datasets is restricted; users will need to gain access to the restricted data sources to reproduce the intermediate data.
To reproduce exhibits from intermediate data (except for tables 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, and figures 9.3.1, 9.3.2, which require to reproduce intermediate data), add the global path in line 13 of "Charts/charts_master.do" and run the do-file.
Users who obtain access to the restricted data sources can reproduce the intermediate data files from raw data sources by following these steps:
- Change the global file path in line 12 of "Do/hc/do/hc_master.do" and run it.
- Change the global file path in line 4 of "Do/pk_urban_new.do" and run it.
- Change the global file path in line 6 of "Do/energy_oil_rystad.do" and run it.
- Change the global file path in line 29 of "Wealth_master_updater.do" and run it.
